Dysport Vs. Botox

Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport® are to injectables for wrinkles as Pepsi is to Coca-Cola-the main competitors in this category. They both have their benefits and they are both great products and we use them both in our medical spa. So now I will lay out the differences:
Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat frown lines — those pesky wrinkles between the eyebrows — in 2002. In 2009, a competitor, Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) was approved for the same use.

Both drugs have also been approved for other cosmetic and medical uses, and doctors administer them widely to smooth wrinkles even in areas they haven't been specifically approved to treat, namely around the outer corner of the eyes.

Dysport is a more affordable option most times but does spread a lot making it a great choice for forehead wrinkles but not so great for inbetween brows. A benefit of Dysport is that is sets faster than Botox.

Botox is still #1 in the market, has the most clinical research and is awesome for inbetween the brows and is safer when it comes to drooping because it doesn't spread.

These two treatments are exactly like Coke and Pepsi....both have their fans that use one and hate the other. When I had to decide between these two options to get rid of crow's feet I chose Botox because everyone told me this is the most effective solution for me.
Since that moment it remained my first option because the result of the botox Toronto treatment I had was great.
